Information and communication technology (ICT) development has greatly enhanced the way we communicate, conduct business, and access information. However, with the increasing use of ICT, there is also an increased risk of security threats. The following are some of the potential risks associated with ICT development:

• Cybersecurity threats: Cyberattacks such as hacking, phishing, and malware can compromise the security of computer systems and networks, leading to data breaches and theft of sensitive information.
  
• Data privacy breaches: With the increasing amount of data being stored and transmitted electronically, there is a greater risk of data privacy breaches. These can occur due to inadequate security measures, accidental disclosure, or intentional theft.
