AI Hackathon Recap: Celebrating Innovation and Team Spirit!
After intense days of coding, collaborating, and creating, the AI Hackathon has come to an exciting close! The event brought together tech enthusiasts, students, professionals, and innovators eager to tackle real-world challenges through artificial intelligence. Participants, judges, and sponsors alike enjoyed an atmosphere filled with innovation, teamwork, and sleepless dedication, all focused on one common goal: hacking the future.
Highlights of the Event
The hackathon featured a range of workshops led by industry experts, offering participants insights into cutting-edge AI tools and techniques. Teams were tasked with developing solutions in areas like mental health, education, eCommerce and more. Over the course of the event, participants not only showcased their technical abilities but also demonstrated remarkable problem-solving skills and creativity.
Special thanks to our dedicated panel of judges who, after evaluating each project, awarded three winning teams for their outstanding work:
- 1st Place: AuraEase – a web application focused on supporting mental health through accessible AI-driven resources.
- 2nd Place: TrafficSU – an educational platform designed to teach users the fundamentals of traffic rules and signs in Suriname.
- 3rd Place: EduWeb – a web application aimed at enhancing educational content accessibility for students.
